- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Cinnamon sugar, optional for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Peel and chop apples into small pieces and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples gently with a spatula.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
- Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
