Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef stew meat or sirloin, cubed
  • 12 oz rotini pasta
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook rotini pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear beef on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add beef broth, cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer to reduce slightly.
  5. Stir in parmesan until melted. Return beef to skillet and simmer until tender.
  6. Add cooked rotini and toss to coat in sauce. Heat through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
