Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan, let it cool slightly.
- Whisk in sugars, pumpkin puree, egg yolk, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough for 30+ minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet.
- Scoop dough onto sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Cool on pan before transferring to wire rack.
