Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup finely chopped apples (peeled)
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)


Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in apples.
  5. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, fry 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Roll warm donut holes in cinnamon sugar to coat.
  8. Warm caramel sauce and drizzle over donut holes before serving.
