Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or flank steak, sliced thin
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp browning sauce
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp oil


Instructions

  1. Slice steak thinly and marinate with soy sauce, black pepper, allspice, garlic, and cornstarch.
  2. Cut bell peppers and onion into strips.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet. Sear steak in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions and peppers until just tender.
  5. Add browning sauce, soy sauce, thyme, and stir to combine.
  6. Return steak to pan and cook 2–3 more minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
