Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs sirloin or flank steak, sliced thin
- 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp browning sauce
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions
- Slice steak thinly and marinate with soy sauce, black pepper, allspice, garlic, and cornstarch.
- Cut bell peppers and onion into strips.
- Heat oil in a skillet. Sear steak in batches until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and peppers until just tender.
- Add browning sauce, soy sauce, thyme, and stir to combine.
- Return steak to pan and cook 2–3 more minutes until everything is coated and heated through.
