Ingredients
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix softened butter with garlic, Dijon, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, parsley, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temp 20 minutes.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat. Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
- Transfer steaks to cutting board and let rest for 5–10 minutes.
- Top warm steaks with cowboy butter. Slice and serve.
