Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 4 brioche or sesame seed buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp pickle juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Butter for toasting buns


Instructions

  1. Mix mayo mustard pickle juice garlic powder and paprika to make crack sauce. Chill until ready to use.
  2. Shape ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper. Press an indent in the center of each.
  3. Cook bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
  4. In a skillet or on the grill cook burgers 3-4 minutes per side. Add cheese on top during the last minute and cover to melt.
  5. Butter and toast buns in the skillet until golden brown.
  6. Spread crack sauce on both buns. Assemble burgers with lettuce tomato cheesy patty and bacon.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite sides.

  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce to the sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Use any melty cheese like gouda or pepper jack.
