Ingredients
- 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water then drain.
- In a skillet brown ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
- Add heavy cream and bring to a low simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return beef to the skillet and mix with sauce. Add pasta and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed.
- Serve hot topped with extra parmesan black pepper and chopped parsley.
