Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water then drain.
  2. In a skillet brown ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1–2 minutes).
  4. Add heavy cream and bring to a low simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and mix with sauce. Add pasta and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Serve hot topped with extra parmesan black pepper and chopped parsley.
