Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 10 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish


Instructions

  1. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet melt butter with olive oil and sauté mushrooms until golden and soft.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss gently. Use reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley before serving.
