Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add parsley, thyme, rosemary, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
  5. Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over top. Simmer 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Let rest before slicing. Serve with sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

  • Add a splash of cream to make a creamy herb sauce.
  • Boneless thighs can be used instead of breasts.
  • Use dried herbs if fresh aren’t available reduce quantity by half.
  • Rest the chicken for a few minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
