Try this easy garlic parmesan chicken pasta recipe! Quick creamy and simple to make perfect for family dinners or dinner parties.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season sliced chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  2. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the pan and stir to coat with sauce.
  6. Add cooked pasta and toss to combine. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
  7. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use fresh Parmesan for best results.
  • Don’t overcook the garlic to avoid bitterness.
  • Rotisserie chicken works as a shortcut.
