Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchini sliced thin
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet sauté onion and garlic then add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce Italian seasoning salt and pepper simmer for a few minutes.
  4. In a greased baking dish layer zucchini turkey sauce mozzarella and parmesan.
  5. Repeat layers finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Bake until cheese is golden and bubbly let rest before serving.
