Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- Whisk soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl.
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet, cook ground turkey until browned, about 7–8 minutes.
- Add sauce to turkey and simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.
- In a separate pan, sauté broccoli and carrots until just tender.
- Assemble bowls with rice, turkey, and veggies. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
