Ingredients

  • ½ lb steak, sliced thin
  • ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Slice steak and season with salt and pepper. Peel and prep shrimp.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok. Sear steak for 1–2 minutes per side, then remove.
  4. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add onion and bell peppers to wok. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Add snap peas and stir for 1 more minute.
  7. Return steak and shrimp to the wok. Pour in sauce and toss everything together for 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overcook shrimp for best texture.
  • Marinate steak for extra flavor.
  • Spice it up with chili flakes.
  • Serve with rice or noodles as desired.
