Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 tbsp water)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour marinade over them. Toss to coat.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes, basting halfway through.
  5. Simmer leftover marinade in a small saucepan and stir in cornstarch slurry until thickened.
  6. Once chicken is cooked through and caramelized, remove from oven and let rest.
  7. Drizzle thickened glaze over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
