Ingredients

  • 2 fresh peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup peach jam or compote
  • 12 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, mixed with 1 tbsp water)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  2. Spread peach jam and layer peach slices, sprinkling sugar and cinnamon if desired.
  3. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 8–10 rounds.
  4. Place rounds spiral-side up in a muffin pan, brush with egg wash.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
