Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts sliced in half
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a breading station with eggs in one bowl and a mix of breadcrumbs and Parmesan in another.
  3. Dip chicken into egg then coat with breadcrumb-Parmesan mix.
  4. Heat olive oil in a deep skillet and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Pour marinara over the chicken and add uncooked spaghetti, making sure it’s covered in sauce.
  6. Cover and simmer for 15–18 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is cooked and chicken is done.
