Ingredients

  • 10 soft caramels
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup melted chocolate coating (for dipping)
  • Flaky sea salt (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips and butter in microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, melt caramels with heavy cream until silky.
  3. Stir vanilla into caramel mixture, then swirl into melted chocolate.
  4. Chill mixture for 1 hour until firm.
  5. Roll into small balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Chill again for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate coating and place back on sheet.

  9. Let set at room temp or refrigerate until firm.
