Description

These sugared champagne grapes are the best easy no-bake party treat! Soaked in bubbly and coated in sugar they’re quick festive and perfect for brunches holidays or New Year’s Eve. A sweet simple healthy-ish dessert idea that looks as fancy as it tastes!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless grapes (red or green)
  • 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp superfine sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry grapes thoroughly.
  2. Place grapes in a bowl and pour champagne over to cover. Soak for 30 minutes to 2 hours in the fridge.
  3. Drain and pat grapes lightly so they’re damp but not dripping.
  4. Roll grapes in granulated sugar (and superfine sugar if using) until fully coated.
  5. Place on a parchment-lined tray and let dry for 30 minutes.
  6. Chill in fridge and serve cold.

Notes

  • Don’t soak overnight or grapes may become too soft.
  • Use sparkling juice for a non-alcoholic version.
  • Add edible glitter to sugar for extra sparkle.
  • Best served the same day but can last up to 2–3 days in fridge.
