Ingredients

  • 1 block extra-firm tofu
  • 1/2 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil (or cooking spray)


Instructions

  1. Press tofu for 20 minutes to remove moisture.
  2. Cut into nugget-sized cubes and season lightly.
  3. In one bowl, mix plant-based milk and cornstarch.
  4. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Dip tofu pieces into wet mix, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Pan-fry in oil over medium heat or air fry at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
