Ingredients
- 1 block extra-firm tofu
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp oil (or cooking spray)
Instructions
- Press tofu for 20 minutes to remove moisture.
- Cut into nugget-sized cubes and season lightly.
- In one bowl, mix plant-based milk and cornstarch.
- In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip tofu pieces into wet mix, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Pan-fry in oil over medium heat or air fry at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
