Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup reduced apple cider
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider (for glaze)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. Warm the milk, mix with sugar, and add yeast. Let sit until foamy.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, eggs, butter, and yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  3. Let dough rise for 1 hour, covered.
  4. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cider, and butter for the filling.
  5. Roll out dough, spread filling, roll up, and slice into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise 30–40 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
  8. Reduce apple cider for glaze. Mix with powdered sugar and butter.
  9. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.
