Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in oil until soft, then let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, soaked breadcrumbs, sautéed onion and garlic, egg, mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Shape mixture into medium-sized patties.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry patties for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  7. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to rest before serving.
